Do All Motherboards Have A Cmos Battery. In general the CMOS jumper is three pins located near the battery. Place the jumper back the exact same way it was removed.
Reset CMOS on the actual motherboard. I have reset the CMOS no joy. However if you are able to get access to the motherboard the battery replacement will be pretty simple as youll just need to pop it out before putting in the replacement.

It is the barrel type battery which is soldered to the board. The board does have the option to use an external battery which I would prefer but just need some. This time however I am stumped my mobo in. It provides power even when the computer is off and allows the CMOS to save all the settings source.
